A torn-up roofline after a storm isn't a "get to it next week" problem, and we don't treat it like one — Roof Repair Smedway answers, scopes the damage, and dispatches a crew across Gotha fast.
Roof Repair Smedway grew out of Gotha, FL job sites, not a corporate rollout plan — that's still how we staff every Roofing crew we send to Gotha.
Ask to see our Gotha, FL license and insurance certificate and you'll have it in your hand before the estimate even starts.
A roof repair that's "close enough" tends to fail again within a year, usually during the exact storm it was supposed to handle. We don't build that way.
Every lead installer carries current Gotha, FL credentials.
Someone answers, every time, day or night.
No invoice surprises once work is underway.
Crews dispatched from within Gotha, FL, not another region entirely.
Most emergency calls we get trace back to a smaller sign that went unnoticed for weeks or months.
Homeowners in Gotha often mention they'd noticed something off months before calling — a stain that seemed to fade, a shingle that looked slightly out of place after a storm.
If the water coming off your downspouts looks gritty, the shingle surface is thinner than it should be.
Once a shingle starts warping, its seal against wind-driven rain is already compromised.
Daylight visible through the attic roof boards means water has the same path in.
Sagging or soft drywall usually points to sustained moisture, not a single isolated drip.
An unexplained bill increase is worth checking against your roof's condition.
Exposed underlayment is only a temporary barrier — it's not built to handle sustained exposure.
Not every call needs the same fix, so we scope each Gotha job individually instead of running everything through one generic quote.
Below is the full breakdown of what we cover in Gotha, so you can see roughly where your situation fits before you even call.
Downed branches, torn flashing, and wind-lifted shingles all fall under our emergency response scope.
Every homeowner gets walked through material options before a decision is made, not after.
We schedule commercial jobs to minimize disruption to tenants and foot traffic wherever possible.
A full tear-off strips the roof to the decking, replaces any damaged boards, and rebuilds with new underlayment and shingles to current code.
A proper inspection checks flashing, fasteners, ventilation, and granule wear before small issues become leaks.
Chimney crickets, skylight seals, and valley flashing are common leak points that general repair crews often miss.
Homeowners tell us the not-knowing is often worse than the repair itself, so we try to remove as much guesswork from the process as we can.
A dispatcher logs your address, roof type, and the problem, then schedules based on urgency.
A technician walks the roof and, when accessible, checks the attic side for the full picture.
Every figure is documented in writing — nothing verbal, nothing vague.
Warranty paperwork is handed over the same day the job wraps.
If you've been burned by a roofing company before, these are the specific things we do differently, not just a promise that we're "better."
We give you an honest arrival window instead of a vague "sometime this week."
Every estimate is itemized so you know exactly what you're paying for.
Our installers follow manufacturer spec on every underlayment overlap and fastener pattern, not general guesswork.
We'd rather send a crew back for a small fix than leave a homeowner unsure.
We're not your insurance company, but we make that part of the process easier.
Some roofs need a full reroof; plenty just need one honest repair.
Our guarantee covers our labor specifically: if the completed work doesn't match the agreed scope, we correct it at no extra cost.
If something unexpected turns up mid-job, like hidden decking damage, we flag it and get your approval before it changes your bill.
We'd rather explain a guarantee in plain language upfront than have a homeowner discover the fine print later.
We stage crews across Gotha, FL so a storm hitting one part of the region doesn't leave the rest of Gotha waiting.
Routes are planned around Gotha's actual streets and access points, not a generic radius drawn on a map, which is part of why our arrival windows tend to hold up.
Homeowners just outside Gotha proper sometimes assume they're too far for a standard visit, but our dispatch radius usually reaches further than people expect.
